About us
My father Tomosi (RIP), the T in TERP and my mother Erina, the E,
didn’t go to school. Their minimal reading and writing skills were learnt
in the church during the East African christian revival movement. Theirs
was a generation with neither access nor opportunity to transform their
lives through education.
In many ways, this company is a tribute to their commitment and
that of other early Africans to use what they lacked most, education, as a
catalyst for change of the next generation.
Our generation is extremely lucky. It is a generation of promise;
one that seeks to transform Africa, and in
my field, using the power of the ‘word’.
When we begun this journey in 1998, we didn’t appreciate the
intensity, passion and distance we would cover in a market that had no idea
about Public Relations as business.
What we knew, however, was that there must have been a purpose God
gave us this pioneering role. From a one man outfit, we have grown into the
TERP Group; a company putting its foot forward with confidence. I find our
staff energy levels amazing and their zeal to create home - grown
communication products admirable.
I am immensely proud to be associated with this company and I
thank God for the seed planted.
