Rumbi holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Curtin University, Western Australia. 

She has 17 years experience in the Public relations industry in Sub Saharan Africa, Brazil and Australia.  She has worked in South Africa and Zimbabwe with a wide range of private sector as well as government and non governmental organizations.

She has handled accounts of major corporate clients such as Shell/BP in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Rumbi is a director of an upcoming Southern Africa tourism and PR agency, Gateway Africa PR.

Rumbi has experience in drawing up and implementing communication strategies, media relations, communication audits as well as in-house publications for companies.

Rumbi brings a wealth of international experience to Uganda at a time when the Ugandan economy and investment is steadily improving requiring key communicators to interpret the country to investors, tourists and the world.
